Hey people who have watched Inception (and those who haven't -- what are you waiting for?) I have a question:

Is there any point in the movie where the dream is populated by Arthur's subconscious projections? We see Cobb's, of course, and Robert's, and when Ariadne is training with him she makes mention that "Her subconscious seems polite," so it's not then. He was the architect on the hotel-level, but again, Robert's subconscious was the one populating the thing.

So, yeah. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Let's have a little fun today, flist. How exactly do you say "where?"

I've been noticing a lot (specifically in narrators when watching The Universe), that people sometimes drop the 'Wah' sound in words like "where" or "when", replacing it with some exhaled breath sound. As if you're saying "whose".

This got me thinking. Is it a regional thing? Like the difference between US East Coast aunt (pronounced awnt) or the way we do it on the west coast (pronounced ant).

So, here the trick for today. I'm going to give you a list of words and your job is to say where you're from (or the region) and how you pronounce them. Should be fun. :D
