Hi all! It’s a Avatar/Stargate SG1 meme! I would dearly love to write more in the Rampage and Strangers universe, but I seem to be blocked for ideas. Woe. :( Could you please help me out? I’m hoping some great prompts could stir my writing juices again!

Some quick in universe rules:

  • *Edit* Alternate timeline for Avatar. It's been a month since Sozin's comet has come and gone: The Gaang didn't win. The Earth Kingdom is mostly burned out, Azula is Fire Lord, and Ozai has declared himself Phoenix King.
  • It’s early season 2 Stargate SG1. The Goa’uld are still the bad guys, and they don’t have access to faster than light ships yet.
So pick a character and pick an emotion or prompt or setting (or SG1 episode!), and I’ll drabble the hell out of it :) Examples: Teal’c and Toph Boxing time in the gym. ZukoThis strange sun doesn’t feel right at all. Feel free to request as many prompts as you would like, however I may not be able to fill them all.

Zuko and Toph - the NID bit off way more than they could chew with these kids

Lol. I loved this prompt. Feel free to request more if you think of anything!

“The NID has clear precedent in these situations, Colonel O’Neill,” Mayborne said, his nasal, bureaucratic voice rising to a higher pitch.  “It is our duty to evaluate all findings for the application of possible alien weapons technology.”

Jack O’Neill stood before the other Colonel, his arms crossed over his chest. “They aren’t weapons, Mayborne. These are just a couple of scared kids we’ve got holed up in here. Doctor Frasier has already agreed to send you all test results from their medical exams. Besides,” he said, and a sardonic half-smile crawled cross his face. “You can’t make these kids go anywhere.”

“Nonsense,” Mayborne snapped. “Stand aside, O’Neill. That is an order.”

Jack gave him a long, steady look. A look that distinctly said, ‘Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you’ before reluctantly moving out of his path. It was his funeral.

Zuko and Toph stood on the other side of the room. They had followed the argument back and forth for the past ten minutes – unusually silent and calm for those two. Jack knew that Daniel had been teaching them English for the past few weeks, and he silently suspected that the boy and the girl had a better grasp on the language than they had ever let on. It was a tacticians move, not letting your enemy know how much you knew, and Jack was coming to accept the fact that these two were brilliant tacticians – even if neither one of them were at an age to drive.

Colonel Mayborne strode up to the kids, his chest thrown out impressively. He glanced at Toph and dismissed her at once, focusing on the older of the two.

“You are to come with me,” he said slowly and all too loud as if Zuko were deaf instead of barely fluent.

The boy looked the man up and down and crossed his arms in an unconscious imitation of Jack’s own stance. His good eye narrowed dangerously, and he said nothing.

Mayborne tried again, “Come with me, now!” this time gesturing in exaggeration to himself and then to the far door where two burly marines stood waiting.

And again Zuko said nothing, simply tilted his head up to look at him. Daniel had told Jack that the boy referred to himself as some kind of Prince, and at that moment he looked every inch of it – high born and imperious even in the face of a man who was more than a head taller than he was.

Then Mayborne made his mistake. He reached out, trying to grab Toph’s arm – probably mistaking the blind little girl as the weaker of the two.

Toph stepped back easily, jerking her arm out of his reach, and Zuko moved forward –He didn’t use any fire. Daniel had made him promise over and over again he would not set anyone or anything thing on fire if he could possibly help it – but apparently he was fast enough without. He grabbed Mayborne’s wrist and twisted it to the side viciously, eliciting a surprised cry of pain from the older man. Then his other hand snapped out, the heel of his palm striking Mayborne hard in the solar-plexus. The Colonel fell to the ground, wheezing.

The two marines rushed in from the doorway, but Toph simply trust out two hard fists out. The sheet metal conference table in the middle of the room was suddenly flung forward as if shoved by an invisible force. It crashed right into the two marines and flung them back and down for the count.

The whole assault had taken less than a few seconds.

“We… not leaving with man who…can not even fight.” Toph said, in heavily accented English.

And that, Jack thought, summed it up quite nicely.

Awesome. I just watched an episode where Maybourne makes a fool of himself! XD

I have to admit, I'm really loving the idea of Avatar and SG-1.

Wow, I'm sort of surpised Toph didn't just kick his ass for touching her. Of course, leave it to Zuko to defend a lady's honor.

*grin* She would have if Zuko wasn't so quick on the draw. She one-upped him anyway by taking out two marines. Lol.
