I think my little icon says it all...
... WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's a graph of how I did. As you can see, I fell off the wagon for a bit. Then I got a fire lit under my ass when I realized the month was coming to a close and finished a day early!!

My wrist is in a brace from last night's 10k challenge, but I'm going to take it easy for the next couple of days. I was really worried that the validation tool would say I was under like 5k or something and I would STILL have more typing to do, but it actually showed about 120 words over my total. lol.
And best of all? My story is DONE. At least, this part of it is. I'll be honest. It's... nowhere near readable. About halfway through I came to the realization that this thing couldn't even be considered a first draft. It's like an overly complicated outline with every sentence a mere suggestion of what might later be incorporated in the actual first draft. ;P
I'm just glad I won. I'm glad I have something I can edit (in about a month's time when I think I can stand looking at it again). And I'm glad that I can now go back to my regularly scheduled fanfiction. ;D
And now... time to take the dog for a walk and stop by the bookstore to purchase First Lord's Fury by Jim Butcher. It came out a few days ago, and I knew if I picked it up before NaNo was done, I would be a goner for sure. Haha.
