Writer's Block: Wild Life

[Error: unknown template qotd]If I was stuck up in the Sierras... with a little luck and some tools I probably could survive indefinitely. I know what's good to eat up there. I've hiked and camped and lived on the edge of the wilderness. But if I was stuck somewhere else, like a bayou, I'd be screwed.

Actually, I thought if there was ever a big disaster or a crazy bombing of my city (or alien attack! :D), that's where I would go to hide out.

I'm sure I'd die D:

I'm so useless...

Ha! You'd do better than me. I'd trip over a branch or something and break my neck. :P

I'd do a lot better in one of those "you wake up one day and every single person on Earth is gone except you" situations, especially if there were animals left.

You know, this takes me to another conversation I had with someone recently. I was playing Left 4 Dead, which is a game about zombies. Some of the zombies just stand there, leaning their heads against the wall waiting for someone to shoot them.

Those zombies? That would be me if there was a zombie outbreak. *G* No chainsaws, no explosions, no rescue for me! I'd be the zombie who was too lazy to even look for brains.

I speculate that in a survival situation I would be much the same. Just hanging around waiting for the bears to eat me.
