*Puts on Sorting Hat*

So I just completed an application for the Hogwartsishome sorting community. I wanted to do it,  because I've been feeling really burned out on the whole HP fandom recently, and I thought that joining something like this with contests and whatever would be fun.

In order to join you have to be 'sorted' I guess, which involves this long application. Going into it, I thought that I would probably get Ravenclaw, maybe Slytherin... but somewhere in the middle -- I don't know -- my answers just got darker. I guess I became more honest. Now, looking at it it looks like I'm vetting for the Slytherin house. *Sigh* Not that I won't be happy -- I would. It'll be fun to write with like-minded people. I just wonder what that means for me as a person.

Hopefully I won't get into Hufflepuff *gag* or be muggled. (Not accepted).

Wow, that community looks quite complex. I always toy with joining something like that, or an RPG type thing, but I never do.

I'll let you know if it's any fun! The application took only an hour to do, and I guess once you're in there's lots of contests and stuff about writing. :)

AHHHHH!!!! I'm totally a member! I'm a Gryffindor. I hope you get sorted into the Gryff house. BTW- we're the best house ;)

That's so cool! I wouldn't mind getting into Gryffindor! Somehow, I don't think it'll happen, but it will be a fun surprise if it does. Do the houses ever interact with one another?

Oh yeah! I have tons of people on my Flist who are from other houses. This is what happens during the voting...based on your answers there are six options: gryff, puff, claw, slythern, no vote (which happens if you give too little information and people cannot place you properly) or muggle. I've only seen muggle voted once and no one uses it at all now. no vote simply means you'll have to re-vamp your app a bit so people can get a better feel for you.

we just started a new term, so there may be small delay in the voting process. Usually is starts in sundays.
