Question for you UK'ers!

I had a weird (fairly shallow) thought today...

I can't speak for other parts of the United States, but here in California, guys with a British accent are hot. Smokin' hot. (Unless it's, like, a cockney accent or something). Even if the guy isn't really that good looking, the British thing scores masses of points.

Now, is it the same for American guys over in the UK? Or is our accent grating to the ear? Am I the only one who bothers to think of these things while stuck in traffic?
