Hey all!
beckyh2112 is having a anti whump-Zuko meme. It's gonna be good, but I thought it would be fun to explore the... darker side of our favorite fandom, in contrast.
This is not just Zuko-whump meme, per say. All Avatar characters are welcome in order to explore their darkest sides. After all, the road to hell is paved with good intentions isn't it? *Grin*
So go on and reply with up to 4 requests. I promise to do at least 1 from everyone, so do your darnest to be dark. (Although I'm drawing the line at rape and incest.)

Prince Sokka's Day In The Market -- Part 4
It was almost as if the firebenders could sense the air of desperation from the slave-dealer. It took nearly twenty minutes of shouting and prodding in with hooks and spears alike to separate the one the dealer wanted. The first, mountain-sized firebender had been more or less docile once he had been shackled.
This one refused to come quietly.
It took more men to pull him forward, and once he did… Sokka stared. This one was about his age, perhaps a little taller with a shock of black hair and gold-gold eyes. Or eye. The other one was slitted from a thick scar on his face and it was hard to tell from any sort of distance.
One of the men tried to prod the firebender forward with the sharp end of his spear. Dumb move. The firebender twisted his head around and breathed out a stream of yellow flame. Immediately the man dropped down and rolled, smacking his arm of his parka which had come alight.
The firebenders in the pen roared with approval.
“… Wow,” Nunka said. “Never see one do that before.”
Sokka’s mouth had gone dry. He didn’t know how he – how anyone could hope to control a monster like this. Then again, that’s what his father paid the servants for. But he knew… if his experiments worked. If – When he could block the fire from a bender of this caliber, it would make it all worth while.
“He’ll do,” he said, and turned to the slave-dealer to begin haggling in earnest.
An hour later, the deal had been settled upon. The slave would be delivered to the palace, and Sokka had gotten him a good deal… once he let it drop he’d be willing to “overlook” the first slave, for half off the second.
“So,” Nunka said, as they made their way back. “You’re starting tonight?”
Sokka grinned at his friend. “Are you kidding? I have to do something with the money I just saved. No way I’m letting Katara get any of it.”
“What do you suggest?”
“They got a new one in the gladiator arena,” Sokka said, after a moment, as if he had not been planning this all along. “Earth Kingdom slave. They say she can take down six baited polar bear-hogs without even breaking a sweat. They call her the Blind Bandit and they’re going to put her up against waterbenders tonight.”
Nunka blinked. “And she’s actually blind?”
Knowing he had just convinced his friend, Sokka clapped him on the shoulder and steered him to the right, to the direction of the arena. “Only one way to find out!”

But very interesting universe and characters are very well handled. I just had to let that thing out of my chest before I really feel sick.
