Boiling rock spoilers behind the link!!!!
I gotta finish my fanfiction!
Woo! Here I was, surfing around the internet on my phone while I was supposed to be working (I got that damned Voyager for something!) and I go to my flist and find out that The Boiling Rock was leaked! So then I just couldn't wait to get home! Some thoughts.
Great EP! Not as epic as other two part’ers, but nearly completely satisfying.
Wow! I love Maiko all of a sudden! She rocks, and so does Ty Lee (who'd I always found uninteresting at best and annoying at worst).
What's with dark Sokka? All of a sudden, he's a 1000% times less annoying than usual. He grew up after the invasion, and I totally am digging him. (And less Katara as well! Double-Woo!!!)
Finally, Zuko. I just can't help but love the guy, but the boy apparently just needs someone to idolize. First it was his father, and now it's his uncle. Can't he be his own person? At the same time, he's only, like, 16 and that is fairly young. At least he's now hero-worshipping someone good. Compare TeaLoving!Zuko of today to angryEmo!Zuko of the beginning of the season. Much improved.
