Like, I'm reading my first Manga ever (Naruto, I started yesterday and am at chapter 52)... and is it common to never have the girls fight and just stand on the side and cheer on their favorite boys? Because... seriously? Seriously? I vaguely remember that cartoon Yu-Gi-Oh being the same way.

At this point it's like these writers are going out of their way not to have the girls fight. The rest of the comic is decent, once I got past the weird reading right to left thing and I think I can finally tell what the hell is going on in the action scenes, but... seriously? What's with these chicks?

Update: Oh of course two chapters later I'm proven TOTALLY WRONG. The girl went bazerk and actually DID something. Well, okay it was only for her true wuv (who is kinda boring in my opinion). But whatever, at least she's not cringing in the back right now.

Update again: Nevermind. She went back to cowering in the corner by her man... and what the hell, she broke it off with her best friend because they like the same guy? Who the hell does that? And who becomes a ninja just to be with someone? It's sad enough to have that be 1 girl's motivation, but TWO GIRLS? This is pathetic.
