This was a wonderful chapter, that lived up to the promise of the previous two chapters. The Gai flashback was heartbreaking...it was nice to see that he still kept in mind his friend's life experience and arranged it so that Kakashi wouldn't be the person to find him. The explanation you gave for Naruto having that ability makes perfect sense...it's interesting to see how you're going to be able to make the three genin gain more skill while limiting Sasuke's capacity for future damage...
